Privacy
What this website and the NGCP community forum store about you, in plain words.
Who runs this
ngcpanel.com and forum.ngcpanel.com are run by Mark V. Larson, on his own servers in the United States.
This website
ngcpanel.com, including the documentation, sets no cookies of its own, has no accounts and no analytics, and loads nothing from other companies. Like any web server it keeps short-lived technical logs (address, time, page). Traffic passes through Cloudflare, which protects and delivers the site and processes those requests under its own privacy policy.
The community forum
If you create an account on forum.ngcpanel.com, the forum stores:
- your user name, your e-mail address and a hash of your password (never the password itself);
- what you post and send through it, and the profile details you choose to add;
- the IP address used for each post and for signing in, to deal with abuse;
- cookies that keep you signed in and remember your forum settings.
Your e-mail address is used to confirm your account, for password resets and for the notifications you choose. It is not shown to other members and is not sold or shared for marketing. Forum e-mail is sent through our own mail server.
Keeping and removing your data
Your account and posts stay until you ask for them to be removed or the forum is closed. To see, correct or delete what is stored about you, use Contact us at the bottom of the forum. Posts that other members replied to may be kept with your name removed, so that discussions still make sense.
Changes
If this page changes in a way that matters, the change will be announced on the forum.
